My Rental Car got Keyed

I walked out to my rental car this morning to find that someone keyed it. Fuck me.

First off, who the fuck keys random cars? It wasn’t that I was parked poorly or did anything to deserve it. Shit, if it was one of my enemies, I could understand why they did it. But my enemies don’t know I have a rental car and that I haven’t been parking in my garage.

Second, what does keying someone’s car do for the person who does the keying? Does it make you feel big? Strong? Like you’ve accomplished something?

Third, don’t they realize that it’s fucking expensive to do such a thing to a rental car? It’s not like I can just live with the scrape, like I would do on my normal car. I have to turn it into the rental car company, who already told me I would have to pay the $500 deductible for the repairs. $500!??? For a scratch!?????

It sucks that I’ve had to have the rental car this long, for the repairs to my regular car have taken a fucking week already. I was supposed to turn this car in a long time ago, but they kept taking their sweet ass time. Now because I’ve had to keep the car, I waited one day to long to turn it back in.

Now, I have to try to return my rental car, pay a small fortune for a scratch, get my car and then race to the airport to make my flight to Michigan. I hope I don’t miss my flight.

I hate you car key scratcher person, whoever you are.

Hopefully you took the rental car companies insurance. If you have to file the claim with your insurance company, you're going to hate car keyer guy a lot more. Your insurance company will jack up your rate several hundred dollars for the next 5 years!

This sucks! I know exactly how you feel! I have a (relatively) new Audi A6 that just got keyed all down the driver's side.. for no apparent reason! I'm not sure how much it will cost to get it repaired but I imagine it won't be cheap considering it's an expensive pearl-effect paint job..
If I find out who did this I would set their car on fire... :P

The same thing happened to my 2 month old Seat Ibiza Cupra (European sports car) today. I was trying to find how to repair it when I found this post. It happened in the parking lot of a supermarket, and it was probably one of the Brazilian bastards that wash cars there. He probably thought "Hey, this bastard doesn't want to pay 15€ (about $20) for a car wash he can do for free at home, and besides he worked his ass off to buy a shiny new car while a bum like me living on walfare has a crappy Fiat Uno... let's scratch his car." Unfortunately the lot doesn't have security cameras... Some people just can't see others with nice things. Jealousy is a bitch.

That sucks i have a renault Clio express. And there is some psycho after me and he decided to unleash his anger on my car, to my dissapointment he keyed all the way round a parallel line front front wing round the back and to the front wing, and it went all the way to the bare steel. It looks magnificent ¬¬

And I do have a couple of questions for you if it's allright. Could it be just me or does it look like some of these comments look like they are left by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing at other online social sites, I would like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of the complete urls of all your communal sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

So there is no coffee shop nor any paphos car hire
cat souvenirs to be seen. It won't cover you for ongoing treatment or travel costs. It is their task to look for inclusions and exclusions. The national economy is typically stable. 9 to take care of the car before you take it.

The sad thing is this is more common than most people think.

My Dad told me when he was a apprentice in Cambridge england one day someone came in and said someone had keyed his brand new Ferrari.

I think the main reason might be jealousy or more likely envy.

I could suggest anyone who buys a new expensive car to have it wrapped.
